Job summary

BD, a leading medical technology company, seeks an experienced finance professional to support plant financials, budgeting, and cost systems. You will provide timely reports, drive process improvements, and partner with site leadership to optimize costs while ensuring compliance with corporate requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of cost accounting/FP&A experience in a large global business. Occasional travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost accounting, FP&A, operations finance, general accounting and/or audit.
• Experience in a large global multi-segment business preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, BPC, SAP and Power BI is critical.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control over plant financials with accurate, timely reports.
• Advise leadership on financial matters related to operations.
• Support in GR/IR, fixed assets, budgets, standard cost, monthly closings and forecasts.
• Identify risks and cost-improvement opportunities across sites.
• Coordinate with Site Controllers to develop finance staff and leadership.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
