Job summary

BD is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and control within a specific business unit, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic insights to support business objectives.

You will partner with functional leaders, manage month-end close under GAAP/IFRS, drive budgeting and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and support strategic initiatives including business case development and due diligence. On-site collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficient Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Provide financial business partnering to functional leaders, offering insights and recommendations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance and policy adherence.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers and proposing corrective actions.
• Oversee and optimize financial processes, systems, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Support strategic initiatives, including business case development, M&A due diligence, and integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
