Job summary

STC Health, a Harris division, seeks a Senior Manager, Operations to lead DevOps, Platform, and IT for immunization information systems. Drive legacy remediation while designing the modern platform, and own vendor contracts and cost controls.

The role is remote in the US, offering 140K–160K annually. Requires 7+ years in DevOps/IT leadership with cloud, CI/CD, and security/compliance experience. Collaboration with the VP and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, Platform, or IT leadership, incl. 3+ years managing teams.
• Experience modernizing legacy infrastructure in live production with security/compliance hardening and automation.
• Experience designing or standing up a new operations model for a platform, including staffing and tooling.
• Ability to operate two systems during transition, balancing legacy stability and modern rollout.
• Demonstrated vendor/tooling contract management and negotiations.
• Experience building cost models or informing pricing in SaaS or services environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD, monitoring/observability, and ITSM tooling.
• Healthcare/public-sector experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication to influence Sales and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Remediate legacy environment and plan the transition to a modern platform.
• Design the Operations support model for DevOps, Platform, and IT, including staffing and processes.
• Manage staffing, costs, and client impact during legacy-to-modern transition.
• Lead DevOps, Platform, and IT teams; hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Establish and report uptime, MTTR, ticket SLAs, change failure rate, and environment cost metrics.
• Own vendor contracts and total cost of ownership for tooling and vendors.
