Job summary

Uplinq, the AI-powered bookkeeping and tax automation platform, is hiring a Senior Onboarding Accounting Specialist. You will be the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through system setup, data clean-up, and account activation.

In this high-touch, high-volume role, you will lead daily meetings, configure accounts, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Sales, Initialization, Accounting, and Tax to ensure a smooth handoff and successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role.
• 6+ years of daily QuickBooks Online use.
• Knowledge of cash- and accrual-based accounting.
• Ability to manage 25+ active client relationships.
• Strong rapport-building with small business owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily client onboarding meetings to collect data and set scope.
• Configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts and integrations.
• Identify scope/pricing gaps and inform sales and clients.
• Manage high-volume onboarding timelines and escalate risks.
• Troubleshoot data issues with sound accounting judgment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Initialization, Accounting, and Tax.
