Uplinq, the AI-powered bookkeeping and tax automation platform for small business owners, seeks a Senior Onboarding Accounting Specialist in the United States. You will be the first point of contact for new clients, guiding system setup, data clean-up, and account activation.

This remote-first, high-volume role requires strong communication, fast problem solving, and ownership of onboarding timelines across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role.
• 6+ years of QuickBooks Online setup, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of cash- and accrual-based accounting.
• Proven ability to manage 25+ active client relationships at once.
• Warm, confident presence with clients and ability to build rapport.
• Comfortable discussing scope and pricing when needed.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily client meetings to gather financial data and clarify scope.
• Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts, resolving integration issues.
• Compare signed proposals to client needs and flag gaps early.
• Manage high onboarding timelines and deliverables across accounts.
• Troubleshoot setup and data issues with accounting judgment.
• Find workarounds to move stalled onboardings forward.
• Collaborate with Sales, Initialization, Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
