Job summary

STEP CG is seeking a Sr. Network Solution Architect/Sales Engineer to lead pre-sales efforts across Networking, Security, and Cellular (PLTE/5G) for customers in the Cincinnati/Louisville region. This remote, work-from-home role includes travel and requires strong communication and design skills.

Responsibilities include creating architecture, BoMs, and SOWs, staying current on technologies, and mentoring engineers. 7+ years of experience and a solid vendor track record are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with layer 3–7 networking, routing, switching, firewall, NAC, and WiFi.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales efforts providing design guidance, architecture, and materials for STEP accounts.
• Create BoMs, SOWs, logical designs, and other technical work products.
• Stay current on networking, security, and cellular trends to advise customers and teammates.
• Collaborate across STEP teams to deliver quality solutions and drive revenue.
• Mentor and assist on complex designs and implement standard processes.
