Job summary

Homeward is a remote-first real estate fintech redefining the mortgage process. The Loan Officer will own the agent and customer experience, converting opportunities generated by the company while coordinating with processors, underwriters and closers to keep each transaction on track.

You’ll originate agency conforming, FHA, VA and jumbo loans, quote rates, structure loans, and collaborate with internal teams to solve underwriting challenges in a fast-paced environment with a strong growth

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience originating FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and Non-Conforming (Jumbo) mortgages.
• Expert knowledge of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and purchase mortgages.
• Superior customer services skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong phone sales skills.
• Strong time-management and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads, grow share of wallet, and maintain transparent relationships with agent partners and customers.
• Manage a pipeline of homebuyers and agents; ensure top service and responsiveness.
• Deliver a world class mortgage experience with excellent service.
• Coordinate with the transaction team to keep all parties updated on file status.
