Job summary

Digifabshop is seeking a Fabrication Engineer II to lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive advanced computational design solutions. You will coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality fabrication work.

The role emphasizes mentoring, process improvement, and maintaining data integrity while contributing to profitable project outcomes. Remote work is supported, with standard 40-hour weeks and OT as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years experience in architectural fabrication or computational design.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Advanced proficiency with Rhino 3D and Grasshopper.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects and act as primary technical contact for clients and PMs.
• Mentor Fabrication Engineer I and guide project delivery.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to labor budgets.
• Collaborate with PMs and directors to improve workflows and standards.
• Potentially join the Technical Steering Committee for R&D initiatives.
