Job summary

Collective is seeking a Senior Member Support Specialist to onboard new members and provide ongoing accounting, payroll, and tax guidance on our all-in-one platform. You will conduct video calls, translate complex topics into clear explanations, and help self-employed members run their businesses with confidence.

You’ll combine solid accounting knowledge with exceptional customer service, manage multiple conversations, and document insights in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in customer experience or support, with 2+ years directly working with accounting, tax, or payroll systems.
• Proficient with common accounting and payroll software tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, ADP).
• Ability to explain payroll taxes and S-Corp concepts to non-financial business owners.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily video calls with members to onboard and answer day-to-day questions on onboarding and account usage.
• Serve as a go-to resource for members navigating the platform, troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed.
