Macmillan Learning, part of the Holtzbrinck family, is transforming to empower high school learners with editorial programs and AI-enabled workflows. We seek a Senior Media Editor to collaborate with the Course Product Manager, authors, vendors, and editorial teams across high school courses.

You will drive project plans, manage budgets, evaluate processes for efficiency, pilot AI tools, and ensure timely, high-quality content delivery for publishing and digital resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of editorial experience in educational publishing or educational technology.
• Strong leadership and project-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing authors and freelancers with QA and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and oversee editorial projects with cross-functional teams.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication throughout projects.
• Assess user needs and plan content to align with platform functionality.
• Pilot AI and automation to improve turnaround time and content quality.
• Interface with authors, vendors, and marketing to deliver on content goals.
