Inspira Education is seeking an Editor, Digital Content in NYC to elevate the quality of blog, guides, and marketing content across medical, legal, business, and college admissions.

This senior individual contributor role requires 5+ years of editing experience, a mastery of house style, and the ability to work with subject-matter experts to tighten sentences and optimize content for readers and AI. The role is in-person five days a week in Gramercy, NYC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional editing experience in digital publishing or content marketing.
• Excellent grammar, structure, and style with strong judgment.
• Experience shaping a house style guide and giving actionable feedback.
• Curiosity about AI-driven search and content discovery.
• Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts and writers under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit for quality at sentence and structure level across multiple content types.
• Apply and evolve Inspira's house style and editorial workflow.
• Ensure content is findable and accessible to readers and AI systems.
• Provide concrete, actionable feedback to writers to improve drafts.
• Maintain high standards while meeting deadlines in a startup environment.
