Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Managed Detection and Response Analyst to join our global MDR operations. You will own investigation and response across customer environments, analyzing endpoints, networks, identities, and cloud telemetry to detect and mitigate threats.

This remote, shift-based role covers global time zones, including weekends, with opportunities to work with Cortex XDR, Cortex XSOAR, and Threat Intelligence teams. US citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SOC, Incident Response, MDR, or MSS experience.
• Hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and firewall technologies.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques, and incident response processes.
• Experience with investigative technologies such as SIEM, packet capture analysis, host forensics, and EDR tools.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with customers.
• Willingness to work overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts in a 24x7 operation.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.

Responsabilités

• Own the complete investigation and response lifecycle of security alerts.
• Analyze endpoint, network, identity, and cloud telemetry to identify threats.
• Document critical findings and remediation actions for customers and teams.
• Collaborate with MDR management to drive shift execution and improvements.
• Partner with Threat Intelligence and Security Research to improve detection.
