Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Analyst to join our elite Unit 42 team. You will detect and respond to complex cyber incidents, manage escalations, and lead tactical shift operations in a dynamic, remote role spanning global time zones.

This 24x7 MDR position requires overnight and weekend shifts, with the opportunity to work remotely across geographies. Strong analysis and communication skills with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SOC, IR, MDR or MSS
• Hands-on with EDR, SIEM, SOAR and firewall techs
• Understanding of cyber threats and incident response processes

Responsibilities

• Own investigation and response lifecycle of security alerts across environments
• Analyze endpoint, network, identity and cloud telemetry to mitigate threats
• Document findings and remediation actions to customers and teams
• Collaborate with MDR management to improve workflow and capabilities
• Partner with Threat Intelligence and Security Research teams to improve detection and response
