Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Third Party Data Governance to lead enterprise-wide governance for third-party data with a strong focus on compliance and data rights management. The role partners with Legal and Procurement to ensure data use aligns with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.

You will establish the vision and operating model for the program, build processes to manage data assets responsibly, and oversee a team dedicated to governance across the organization,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare data governance, licensing, privacy, or compliance, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Bachelor's degree in health informatics, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record building governance or compliance programs and teams.
• Experience operationalizing data agreements into effective controls and processes.
• Deep understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data regulations.
• Familiarity with healthcare data types, including claims and clinical data.
• Demonstrated leadership and adaptability in managing teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team focused on third-party data governance across the enterprise
• Establish the vision and core processes for the governance program
• Create a centralized inventory of third-party data assets, including source and ownership details
• Translate complex data agreements into actionable data rights management solutions
• Collaborate with Legal and Procurement to negotiate data use terms and manage renewals
• Govern data intake and release in compliance with contractual rights and standards
• Monitor data usage and maintain documentation for audits
