Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations & Market Access to lead reimbursement and field market access for the U.S. be the main liaison to providers, payers, and field teams.

This remote role blends payer-facing and provider-facing responsibilities, including value dossiers, coding implementation, and field collateral generation. The role oversees midstream and downstream activities, transitions to downstream focus with scaling teams, and collaborates with Upstream Strategist.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree is required.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in medical device or pharmaceutical reimbursement, field market access, or payer relations
• Direct experience developing billing guides, coding tip sheets, and provider reimbursement education materials
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding systems and hospital billing workflows (OPPS, ASC, physician office)
• Experience managing payer relationships, developing value dossiers, and executing advisory boards
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with sales and marketing teams in a commercial support capacity
• Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables across products
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification strongly preferred
• Experience with field reimbursement team management (outsourced or in-house)
• Familiarity with FCA/AKS compliance requirements for manufacturer-provided reimbursement guidance
• Experience with business intelligence platforms

Responsibilities

• Billing guides: create, maintain, and distribute comprehensive billing and coding guides for all products.
• Customer reimbursement support: primary contact for management of customer reimbursement vendor(s).
• Code implementation logistics: manage field logistics for CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes.
• Sales & marketing support: generate field collateral in support of sales/marketing.
• Value dossiers: coordinate with Upstream; distribute payer-facing evidence packages.
• Key account management: manage payer engagement at key accounts.
• Policy monitoring & implementation: track payer policies and translate to field tools.
• Field personnel management: direct field personnel in payer campaigns; coordinate resources.
• Code acquisition support: support CPT/HCPCS code acquisition with Upstream Strategist.
• Payment policy implementation: translate CMS changes into field guidance.
• Reimbursement tools: develop estimation tools for sales and provider accounts.
