Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Manager to lead regulatory and market access strategy for the Cancer Diagnostics portfolio. This role focuses on navigating coding, coverage, and payment landscapes to protect patient access and support portfolio growth.

You will advise on ADLT/reporting, state mandates, and payer policies, coordinating across Market Access, Revenue Cycle, and Laboratory Operations to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years advising healthcare organizations on regulatory, reimbursement and coverage matters.
• 5+ years advising CLIA laboratories on market access strategy.
• Strong knowledge of CMS and HHS guidelines.
• Experience engaging with trade associations and state advocacy groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate legislative language into actionable business guidance.
• Strong organizational skills for cross‑functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor on coding, coverage, and payment strategy for pipeline and on‑market products.
• Lead and support reimbursement implementation, including ADLT collection and reporting, and state coverage laws.
• Advise on federal/state health policy affecting lab diagnostics and CMS policy.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into business actions and communications.
• Represent Abbott Cancer Diagnostics in trade associations and coalitions to advance policy positions.
