Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations to lead a remote team supporting critical cyber defense infrastructure. You will oversee service reliability, incident response, and modernization across Remote Access, Web Gateway/Proxy, Zero Trust Access, F5 Load Balancing/WAF, and ServiceNow workflows.

You will drive automation and process improvements while coordinating with Identity, Cloud, Network, Security, and SOC teams. Travel ~10%, mostly remote from Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience favored.
• Experience with Remote Access technologies and Zero Trust concepts.
• Experience with Web Gateways/Proxies, F5 Load Balancers/WAF, and enterprise ticketing platforms.
• Proven incident leadership and distributed infrastructure operations expertise.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a remote team of 8 FTEs.
• Oversee day-to-day operational stability and SLA compliance for infrastructure services.
• Lead incident response for major outages and degrades, as primary decision-maker.
• Partner with engineering to improve knowledge base, docs, and support processes.
• Guide initiatives in incident management maturity, maintenance planning, and platform readiness.
• Contribute to vendor evaluations and technology discussions.
