Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations to lead a remote team delivering critical cyber defense infrastructure services. You will oversee incident response, maintenance planning, and platform reliability while driving automation and process improvements across Zero Trust, Web Gateways/Proxies, and F5/WAF environments.

You will partner with Identity, Cloud, Network, Security, and IT teams to ensure service quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in infrastructure/cyber defense
• Experience with Remote Access technologies, Zero Trust concepts, Web Gateways/Proxies, F5 Load Balancers/WAF, and enterprise ticketing platforms
• Experience in incident leadership, infrastructure operations, or cybersecurity domains
• Experience managing distributed technical teams

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a remote team of 8 FTEs
• Oversee day-to-day operational stability and SLA compliance
• Lead incident response for major outages and service degradations
• Collaborate with engineering for knowledge base accuracy and process improvements
• Drive automation and optimization of ServiceNow workflows
• Lead strategic initiatives on incident management maturity and maintenance planning
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery
• Support budgeting, governance, and risk controls
• Travel approximately 10%
