Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a seasoned corporate finance leader to oversee supervisors and associates across planning, forecasting, modeling, and internal controls in a remote-capable role. The position guides short-term goals aligned with corporate objectives and budgets, collaborating with senior management to translate objectives into actionable plans.

You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, manage daily financial operations, prepare budgets and reports, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 9 years of functional work experience in corporate Accounting/Finance activities.
• Must have at least 2+ years supervisory experience managing a team of accounting or finance associates.
• Certification or working towards certification for CPA, CIA, or equivalent is encouraged.
• Knowledge of GAAP, FAS, Tax regulations (domestic and/or international), Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or an equivalent number of years experience in accounting/finance.
• MBA or graduate level work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage corporate accounting and finance activities to support goals.
• Supervise accounting/finance staff and assign work to associates.
• Develop department operating budgets and staffing plans.
• Improve processes and controls within accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare reports for operating budgets, cash flow, tax forms/filings, and audits.
• Communicate objectives and track performance against departmental goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent

MBA or graduate level work desirable
