Job summary

RR Donnelley in the United States is seeking an experienced finance leader for a remote-role position preferred in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL area. The role manages corporate finance staff and drives planning, forecasting, modeling, and internal controls within Corporate Accounting and Finance.

Responsibilities include guiding objectives, coordinating daily activities, and aligning staff to corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Requires 9 years of functional work experience in a corporate Accounting/Finance capacity.
• Must have at least 2+ years supervisory experience managing a team of accounting or finance associates.
• Certification or working towards certification for CPA, CIA, or equivalent is encouraged.
• Must be able to apply knowledge of GAAP, FAS, Tax regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Responsibilities

• Translate objectives into short-term assignments, processes, and measures within Corporate Accounting and Finance functions.
• Communicate work objectives, goals, and projects to subordinate supervisors or associates.
• Develop department and individual associate goals and review progress regularly.
• Plan the annual department budget and ensure alignment with corporate goals and approved budget.
• Coach and monitor staff in performance and development and make salary recommendations.
• Review financial statements and tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
