Otis Elevator Co. seeks a Digital Technology Senior Manager to lead digital manufacturing solutions across global factories, aligning with Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 initiatives. You will drive data, integrations, analytics, and adoption from concept through deployment and sustainment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and executive communication to reduce customization and deliver measurable business value. Remote in the US with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, supply chain, operations, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing systems, engineering systems, supply chain technology, enterprise applications, digital transformation, or a similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading business process design, solution design, requirements management, functional architecture, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the systems ecosystem that supports factories, including ERP, PLM, MES/factory applications, reporting/analytics, workflow tools, and connected data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the functional roadmap and solution architecture for digital manufacturing capabilities including Smart Factory and Industry 4.0.
• Lead requirements discovery, process mapping, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria from business need to production deployment.
• Serve as the solution leader across manufacturing ops, Sourcing, Material Planning, Quality, Finance, and DT teams.
• Define end-to-end solution designs across ERP, MES, analytics platforms, workflow tools, and master data.
• Translate business needs into architecture decisions, delivery epics, user stories, and testable outcomes.
• Evaluate business requests to identify root causes and recommend scalable solutions to minimize customization and technical debt.
• Support multiple transformation workstreams by coordinating dependencies and risk management.
• Manage consultants, vendors, and delivery partners with clear priorities and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Lead people side of change with training and adoption support within factory and functional teams.
• Maintain governance documentation and provide concise progress reporting aligned to business value.
