Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Planning in Hershey, PA (open to remote options) to translate commercial strategies into integrated customer plans across Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will drive planning rigor, enable cross‑functional alignment, and lead performance improvements through data‑driven insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer planning, commercial planning, forecasting, trade investment management, finance, sales or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate strategy into executable plans and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Customer & Channel Planning: develop annual, quarterly and in-year plans aligning with commercial strategy.
• Drive Planning Excellence & Visibility: maintain visibility into volume, promotions, trade investment and performance; advance KPIs and governance.
• Optimize Trade & Financial Performance: partner with customer teams to optimize trade investment, revenue growth and profitability; monitor plan vs. actuals and actions.
• Generate Data-Driven Insights: use analytics and scenario planning to evaluate opportunities and support decisions.
• Enable Alignment & Continuous Improvement: collaborate across functions to ensure executable, aligned plans and improve planning processes.
• Lead Team & Talent Development: coach and develop team members to build analytical, planning and commercial capabilities.
