Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking an experienced strategy analyst to deliver day-to-day customer strategy analyses and support for defined customers or projects. You will apply segmentation, analysis, and commercial positioning methods to produce accurate, insightful outputs in collaboration with senior SMEs and Sales stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined experience in a leading CPG company or strategy consulting firm.
• Background across strategy, finance, marketing, and sales.
• Experience leading strategic and data-driven recommendations.
• Understanding of market research methods and syndicated data.
• Experience driving change in a complex business environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an external mindset by translating consumer, customer, competitive, and macroeconomic trends into actionable insights.
• Own and execute strategy projects with minimal oversight.
• Lead complex problem solving on strategic issues and decisions.
• Guide, develop, and mentor small project teams of indirect contributors with a high degree of autonomy.
• Synthesize internal and external data into business recommendations and strategies.
• Develop executive-level presentations for the CEO, Executive Committee updates, Board presentations, and external speaking engagements.
