Job summary

AMSURG is seeking a Sr. Manager, Clinical Training & Development to design, coordinate, and evaluate education programs for Ambulatory Surgery Centers and corporate teammates. This remote-first role partners with clinical leaders to identify learning needs, develop solutions, and measure impact.

The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in clinical education and patient safety practices across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of education programs and learning resources that support clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence
• Partners with Clinical leadership to identify learning needs and develop education solutions that support objectives
• Builds collaborative relationships with center leadership, clinical teams, operation teams, and corporate stakeholders to support education initiatives
• Integrates evidence-based practices and organizational priorities into education programs
• Supports quality improvement through education and dissemination of best practices
• Provides day-to-day leadership and coordination of education initiatives across stakeholders
• Supports development and facilitation of education programs that reinforce knowledge and critical thinking
• Coordinates onboarding and orientation to support engagement and role transition
• Assesses needs and uses feedback and metrics to improve programs and delivery methods
• Maintains education plans and resources to achieve priorities
• Keeps Clinical Quality leadership informed about progress and challenges
• Collaborates with LMS team to support content, training requirements, and compliance tracking
• Coordinates education-related projects ensuring deliverables and timelines
