Job summary

Parasol Alliance seeks a Manager of Business Systems to lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing governance of enterprise business applications across HRIS, payroll, finance, CRM, scheduling, and reporting. You will guide a remote team, coordinate with executives, and drive system improvements for client-facing MSP-style services.

The role emphasizes vendor management, process standardization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education, management experience, and demonstrated business systems expertise will be considered.
• Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management, IT, systems administration, or leadership are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience supporting, administering, implementing, or optimizing enterprise business systems across multiple functional areas.
• Progressive experience in business systems, business analysis, application management, technology operations, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience directly managing or supervising employees, including performance management, coaching, workload planning, and employee development.
• Experience managing software vendors, system implementations, upgrades, integrations, or technology projects.
• Experience translating business requirements into system solutions and process improvements.
• Experience working in a client-facing, managed services, consulting, or multi-stakeholder technology environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the Business Systems team, including workload planning, coaching, performance management, professional development, and accountability.
• Oversees enterprise business systems across HRIS, payroll, finance, CRM, scheduling, workflow, dining, document management, and reporting.
• Establishes priorities, standards, workflows, and service expectations for business system support and project delivery.
• Provides escalation support for complex business system issues while supporting a portfolio of clients directly.
• Partners with leadership and stakeholders to identify system needs, evaluate solutions, prioritize initiatives, and align technology investments with business objectives.
• Manages vendor relationships and participates in software selection, contract reviews, performance discussions, and issue escalation.
• Develops and maintains system documentation, knowledge resources, processes, and governance standards.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for business systems matters and maintain clear, professional communication with leadership, clients, employees, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Operates in a fully remote work environment, with occasional travel as business needs require.
