Rippling is expanding its US Managed Payroll offering and seeks a Senior Managed Payroll Specialist to own payroll delivery for a portfolio of complex US customers. You will manage routine pay runs, edge cases, and respond with accuracy and clear communication in a fast-moving service environment.

You will also raise the bar for the Managed Payroll program by refining SOPs, identifying tooling needs, and partnering with cross-functional teams to translate customer insights into better systems

Competenze

• 4+ years of hands-on US managed payroll experience across multi-client and multi-state payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, tax withholding, garnishments, benefits deductions, and leave compliance.
• Proven ability to manage client-facing relationships with clear, proactive communication.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment and contributing to the playbook as you go.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows and automation tools is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Excel; Salesforce or Jira is a plus.

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end payroll cycle for a portfolio of complex US customers with data collection, pre-validation, entry, approval coordination, and final checks.
• Conduct proactive pre-payroll reviews to identify unapproved timecards, onboarding gaps, and other issues that could delay payroll.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customer accounts, communicating clearly throughout the pay run cycle.
• Manage high-risk payroll escalations with strong judgment and customer empathy.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Implementation, Support, and Sales to surface needs and assess fit for Managed Payroll.
• Refine SOPs, tooling needs, automation and AI-assisted workflows, driving scalable improvements.
• Mentor specialists and contribute to training to uphold standards across the team.
