Rippling is expanding its US Managed Payroll offering and seeks a Managed Payroll Lead to own and scale this early-stage program. You will define the operating model, set delivery standards, and build the foundation for a best-in-class customer experience.

You will be a hands-on operator and people leader—running payroll, managing client relationships, and shaping processes to grow while maintaining service quality. AI-enabled workflows help focus on value.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on US managed or outsourced payroll experience across multi-state processing.
• Two+ years in a team lead, supervisor, or manager role within a payroll service delivery environment.
• Demonstrated experience standing up or materially improving a team, process, or service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a US Managed Payroll team and portfolio.
• Own payroll execution and client delivery with high standards.
• Define SOPs, playbooks, and escalation frameworks for the operating model.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on tooling opportunities and roadmaps.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
