You will run payroll hands-on, manage client relationships, and build the team, processes, and infrastructure for scalable delivery while maintaining top-tier service quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on US managed or outsourced payroll experience with multi-state processing.
• 2+ years in a team lead, supervisor, or manager role within payroll service delivery.
• Proven ability to improve a team, process, or service, not just maintain it.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the US Managed Payroll team and onboard new specialists.
• Set expectations, coach, and create an ownership culture focused on accuracy.
• Escalation point for complex accounts and high-risk client situations.
• Design and document operating model, SOPs, and escalation frameworks.
• Identify tooling and automation opportunities with Product & Engineering.
