Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Litigation Specialist to manage complex auto and homeowners claims remotely. You will shape strategy, direct defense counsel, and evaluate settlements while coordinating discovery plans and expert involvement.

The role requires advising on liability, damages, and coverage, with travel as needed and capacity to work extended hours. A bachelor’s in business, insurance, or risk management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex litigated claims in auto or homeowners
• Ability to shape claim strategy and direct defense counsel
• Experience with settlements and negotiations
• Understanding of civil procedure and regulatory requirements
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours/weekends

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated auto and homeowners claims.
• Shape claim strategy, provide direction to defense counsel, evaluate settlements.
• Develop discovery plans including depositions and IMEs for varied claim complexity.
• Collaborate with defense counsel on negotiation strategy and settlements.
• Monitor budget for outside counsel and analyze defense expenses.
