CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Sr. Litigation Specialist to manage complex litigated auto and homeowners claims from a remote location across the United States. You will guide defense strategy, assess settlements, and oversee costs and indemnity exposure, with authority to settle or escalate as needed.

The role requires handling insurance claims experience, senior casualty background, and ability to travel for in-person meetings. Remote work is available nationwide with exceptions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
• High School diploma is required.
• Experience handling insurance claims is required.
• Prior senior casualty experience strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Completes analysis of claim, including loss facts and applicable factors; creates discovery plan for first and third‑party claims.
• Directs defense counsel with authority for resolution and ensures favorable outcomes while balancing costs and indemnity.
• Reviews liability, damages, coverage and risk to assess for independent settlements.
• Collaborates with defense counsel to shape negotiation strategy; participates in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Authorizes and monitors outside counsel budgets; analyzes defense expenses with bill review tools.
• Prepares and presents litigated case recommendations to local and executive management up to IELT level.
• Secures authority up to the highest levels for resolution.
