Lyft seeks an attorney with strong litigation experience to join our expanding Legal Team. You will oversee litigation, partner with Claims, Risk, Safety, Policy, and Communications, and guide proactive strategies for our evolving products and services.

The role requires 5+ years of practice, a JD from a top-tier school, and active bar admission. This position is fully remote in the Los Angeles area, with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practicing law at a leading law firm or in-house.
• J.D. from a top-tier law school.
• Active member of a state bar in good standing.
• Preference for in-house experience and advising technology clients.
• Autonomous worker who can also collaborate effectively.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Able to manage multiple client demands and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for legal matters with emphasis on personal injury cases.
• Collaborate with Legal Team to develop litigation strategy aligned with business goals.
• Proactively handle litigation tasks including discovery, motions, and trial prep.
• Analyze matters to guide resolution strategies and interpret relevant laws.
• Manage outside counsel, staffing, budgeting, and strategic alignment.
• Provide cross-functional legal guidance to management and other teams.
