Job summary

Lyft is seeking a sharp, self-motivated attorney with 5+ years of litigation and counseling experience to support business goals at the intersection of law, policy, and technology. You will serve as a trusted advisor to multiple internal partners and manage outside counsel to minimize legal risk.

This hybrid Nashville role reports to a Director on the Litigation team. You will handle consumer litigation, regulatory disputes, investigations, and competition matters, work with product and policy

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from a top-tier law school and active bar membership.
• 5+ years civil litigation experience at a mid-large firm and/or agency.
• Experience with regulatory disputes and government investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on litigation work across consumer disputes, regulatory matters, and investigations.
• Provide strategic legal advice to internal partners and manage outside counsel.
• Advise cross-functional teams on legal risk and regulatory interpretation.
• Develop trial, settlement, and appellate strategies and coordinate with leadership.
