Job summary
Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Lead/Principal Solution Engineer for Life Sciences to own the technical strategy across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Data 360. You will architect solutions, run executive-level discovery and demos, and craft compelling value narratives for complex Life Sciences deals while addressing regulatory requirements.
You will also mentor SEs, contribute to playbooks, and collaborate with account teams to drive multi-cloud wins in a regulated industry.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting.
- At least 5 years in enterprise software, ideally Life Sciences, pharma, or medtech.
- Track record of influencing C-level and VP stakeholders and winning large multi-cloud deals.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform and Life Sciences technology landscape.
- Strong grasp of data architecture, integration patterns, and AI/agentic solutions in regulated environments.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and whiteboarding skills.
- Mentorship and informal leadership across teams.
- Strategic, collaborative, and adaptable to fast-changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy and sales cycle for large, complex Life Sciences opportunities across Salesforce products.
- Partner with AEs, Industry Specialists, Customer Success, and Partners to build account plans and POVs.
- Conduct executive-level discovery, demos, and workshops; translate business outcomes into solutions and value narratives.
- Design reference architectures for commercial, medical affairs, patient services, and field-engagement use cases.
- Navigate regulated requirements (GxP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR) with IT, QA, and Security.
- Mentor SEs through deal reviews, demos, and storytelling coaching; contribute to playbooks and reusable assets.
- Represent Salesforce at customer events and industry conferences.
