Job summary

TruLegal (formerly TRU Staffing) seeks a Senior Application Engineer to own the lifecycle of core enterprise legal and productivity applications, including admin, architecture, integrations, automation, security, upgrades, and ongoing optimization.

Hands-on with iManage, Intapp, Litera, SQL, and PowerShell in a legal environment is essential. Primarily remote, with commutable distance to CA, CO, NY, TX, or DC offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Full-stack troubleshooting with deep log analysis to root cause.
• Strong PowerShell and scripting for automation and upgrades.
• Advanced SQL, T-SQL, Windows/Linux OS, and networking knowledge.
• Expert knowledge of DMS, Records Management, Intapp Wallbuilder, and security models.
• Experience building data flows with Integration Builder.
• REST API development experience.
• Familiarity with legal apps, security policies, deployment packaging.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure.
• Boomi development preferred.
• Office 365 administration preferred.
• ITIL/Lean/Agile methodologies preferred.
• Certifications related to Microsoft, iManage, or Litera preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize assigned enterprise applications for stability and user adoption.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes for complex systems.
• Lead upgrades, patching, and continual improvements across applications.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Architect integrations and workflows aligned with firm standards.
• Lead deployments, automation initiatives, and new technology implementations.
• Perform testing and QA to ensure successful rollouts.
• Ensure security controls, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, track issues, and evaluate product enhancements.
• Develop documentation, SOPs, and user guides; deliver end-user training.
• Support and administer integrations across DMS and CMS systems.
• Identify automation opportunities using REST APIs and related tooling.
• Maintain Walls rules alignment with governance and GC requirements.
