Job summary

General Assembly is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to design and deliver scalable, AI-enabled learning programs for enterprise and professional audiences. The role emphasizes practical, outcome-driven learning experiences, strong project management, and collaboration with SMEs, instructors, and client teams to translate complex concepts into actionable content.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field.
• Experience creating instructor-led training content for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools to design, prototype, evaluate, and improve learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the Learning Experience Designer for GA programs, including AI and emerging technology components.
• Own the end-to-end Client-facing Design Process from discovery to delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, product, client success, and delivery teams to identify learner needs and craft solutions.
• Define learning outcomes aligned to real-world application, productivity gains, and responsible technology use.
• Develop instructor-led materials: slides, labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, workbooks.
• Coordinate with SMEs, instructors, vendors, and client teams to ensure timely, high-quality program delivery.
