Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical design leadership in data centers or critical facilities.
• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree and PE license.
• Knowledge of N+1 and 2N redundancy in power systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit for electrical design and related analysis tools.
• Experience leading remote teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from concept to construction; provide technical ownership.
• Develop resilient power systems including utility connections, MV/LV distribution, generators, UPS, and switchgear.
• Guide engineers, review technical work, and maintain design quality across projects.
• Manage design resources, scope, budgets, and deadlines.
• Advise clients and resolve technical questions during delivery.

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy delivering complex data center and critical infrastructure projects, is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to take technical ownership of electrical design and guide project teams.

This is an opportunity to be EOR and combine hands on engineering with team leadership and direct client responsibility on hyperscale, technically demanding projects.

What you’ll do

• Lead electrical design from early concepts through detailed documentation and construction support.
• Develop resilient power systems covering utility connections, MV/LV distribution, generators, UPS and switchgear.
• Guide engineers, review technical work and maintain design quality across multiple projects.
• Manage design resources, scope, budgets and deadlines.
• Advise clients and resolve technical questions throughout project delivery.
• Mentor colleagues and improve engineering standards, tools and workflows.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including substantial design leadership within data centers or other critical facilities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and a PE license.
• Strong knowledge of redundant power arrangements, including N+1 and 2N.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, alongside electrical analysis tools for fault calculations, protection coordination and arc flash assessments.
• Confidence managing client relationships and leading teams remotely.
