Multiplier is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead payroll processing for the Latin America region, focusing on two or more LATAM countries. Qualifications

• Expertise in one or more Latin American countries with knowledge of local labor laws.
• Proficient in business English for stakeholder communication.
• Experience in remote environments with self-starting accountability.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with Employee of Record (EOR) or in-house payroll operations.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese for local teams.
• Leadership to manage payroll across multiple countries and ensure compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve payroll issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll processing for the Latin America region, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Provide technical payroll support to local teams including onboarding and compliance.
• Manage multi-country payroll processes with regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations for alignment and communication.
• Build relationships with government agencies, vendors and employees.
• Analyze payroll issues and guide local teams to resolution.
• Stay updated on local labor laws and regulatory changes.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on trends and opportunities.
