Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Java Web Application Developer to join a team that builds full‑stack web applications for defense/test environments. You will design, develop, test, and maintain web apps that support critical missions while adhering to security requirements.

The role is remote with eligibility to work from Alexandria, VA, and requires an active Secret clearance or higher, a strong background in Java, Angular, HTML/CSS, NodeJS, and RESTful services, plus experience with PostgreSQL/SQL.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Join an existing team of web developers to provide full-stack web applications that support operational requirements.
• Document and validate web application requirements.
• Develop automated tests that align with test plans.
• Provide architectural design and development support to fulfill web application requirements.
• Participate in software design discussions and recommend tools, technologies, and techniques.
• Refactor/update existing web applications to add features and improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with software security requirements by reviewing cybersecurity posture of web apps.
