Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Java Web Application Developer to join our Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) program. This remote role supports DoD communities by delivering full-stack web applications through a collaborative team of engineers and developers.

The position emphasizes Java EE/Jakarta EE, RESTful services, and modern UI components with strong security and quality focus. The role may be performed remotely while being based in the United States and open to individuals

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• 6+ years developing, deploying, and maintaining full-stack web applications.
• 6+ years identifying and validating software requirements.
• 8+ years with web UI: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.
• 4+ years designing and building RESTful web services.
• 6+ years Java EE/Jakarta EE integration, Servlets and JDBC.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of web developers to deliver full-stack applications.
• Document and validate web application requirements.
• Develop automated tests aligned with test plans.
• Provide architectural design and development support.
• Participate in design discussions and tool selection.
• Refactor/update existing applications for new features and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
