Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Java Web Application Developer to join the Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) program. The role is remote-capable and based in Alexandria, VA, focusing on designing, building, testing and maintaining web applications for the DoD test and training communities.

Candidates should have 3+ years of full-stack Java experience with strong UI skills (HTML/CSS/JS/Angular), RESTful services, Java EE, and PostgreSQL, plus US citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience or Master's degree and 2+ years.
• 3+ years of experience building full-stack web applications.
• 2+ years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (NodeJS) and Angular.
• 2+ years of RESTful web services design and development.
• 2+ years of Java EE/Jakarta EE, Servlets and JDBC.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Join an existing team to deliver full-stack web applications for operational requirements.
• Document and validate web application requirements.
• Develop automated tests aligned with test plans.
• Provide architectural design and development support.
• Participate in design discussions and select appropriate tools/technologies.
• Refactor existing applications to add features and improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance by reviewing the application's security posture.
