Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Java Web Application Developer to join the Test and Training Enabling Architecture program, focused on building tools for DoD test and training communities. You will develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications to deliver essential capabilities for our enclaves.

The role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with remote work eligibility and on-site options in Alexandria, VA. Strong Java EE, RESTful services, and PostgreSQL experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years.
• 3+ years of full-stack web app development and deployment experience.
• 2+ years of validating software requirements.
• 2+ years of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (NodeJS) and Angular experience.
• 2+ years of designing and building RESTful web services.
• 2+ years of Java EE/Jakarta EE, Servlets, JDBC experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Join an existing team to deliver full-stack web applications supporting operational requirements.
• Document and validate web application requirements.
• Develop automated tests aligned with test plans.
• Provide architectural design and development support for web apps.
• Participate in design discussions and select tools/techniques.
• Refactor existing applications to add features and improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements by reviewing app posture.
