Job summary

Cognitive Medical Systems is seeking a Senior Java Developer, Technical Lead to lead sprint-level development, mentor Java/AWS engineers, and ensure robust code quality, all while working remotely.

The role involves coordinating with the Solution Architect and Program Manager to manage workloads, oversee invoice/reconciliation system development, and promote automated testing and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 8+ years in software development, including 3+ years in a technical lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java and proficiency in Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines including GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Familiarity with AWS application services such as EC2, Lambda, and S3.
• Experience in a SAFe Agile environment, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint-level application development execution and manage developer workload in coordination with the Solution Architect and Program Manager
• Oversee the development of various systems including invoice and reconciliation systems, while enforcing code quality standards and automated test coverage
• Mentor Java/AWS developers, conduct code reviews, and support AI-assisted development initiatives
