Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a hands‑on Lead Java Software Development Engineer to join a high‑energy team transforming the digital experience of pharmacy and health care. You will lead engineers, drive design decisions, and ensure reliable deployments across cloud platforms with strong focus on security and quality.
The role requires a deep Java/Spring background, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud experience, with collaboration across product, interoperability, and EHR integration partners to
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in software development lifecycle including ideation, coding, testing, and deployments.
- 7+ years experience with modern software development practices.
- 3+ years experience with cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud).
- 3+ years building and operating large scale distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and work with engineers onsite and offshore to deliver multiple use cases and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make design decisions and ensure performance and code quality.
- End‑to‑end development and deployment including production observability of services supporting clinical workflows and EHR integrations.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and PI planning.
