Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation electronic trading systems within a high-performing Trade Management Engineering group.

You will architect distributed, event-driven platforms optimized for low latency and high throughput, mentor engineers, and drive platform performance. This remote contract role requires 10+ years of experience with Java, Python, Linux, and low-latency messaging.

Competenze

• 10+ years of hands-on software design and development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Python, and Linux.
• Deep experience with low latency messaging systems (e.g. Kafka).
• Proficiency with time-series DBs (e.g. KDB+).
• Experience building scalable, distributed, event-driven applications.
• Strong knowledge of low latency design patterns and performance optimization.
• Background in Capital Markets or Brokerage systems, especially order management.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and FIX engines.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Experience deploying to AWS or other cloud platforms.
