Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance electronic trading systems in a remote, contract role. You will architect distributed, event-driven platforms and mentor engineers while ensuring low latency and high throughput.

The role requires 10+ years in software design, deep Java/Python/Linux experience, and expertise with Kafka, time-series databases, FIX, and CI/CD tools. W2 benefits are included.

Competenze

• 10+ years of hands-on software design and development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Python, and Linux.
• Deep experience with low latency messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Proficiency in time-series databases like KDB+.
• Background in building scalable distributed, asynchronous, event-driven applications.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol and FIX engines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy).
• Hands-on experience deploying to AWS or other clouds.
