Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to support railway dispatch systems. You will design, develop, and modernize mission-critical rail applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud-native tech.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Full Stack Development, or Enterprise Applications.
• Mandatory experience in Railway Dispatch Control systems and railway operations environments.
• Strong expertise in Java, Advanced JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience developing web applications using Angular.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud platform services.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services using Java, Advanced JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Develop responsive web applications using Angular.
• Design and implement cloud-native apps leveraging Kubernetes and containers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver railway solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Support CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and operational readiness.
• Contribute to test automation and quality engineering efforts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and delivery.
