Job summary

Capgemini in New York seeks a Java Fullstack Developer to design, develop and deploy scalable web apps and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers while contributing to best practices in a cloud-native environment.

The role emphasizes strong Angular/TypeScript on the front end and Core Java with Spring on the back end, in an Agile Scrum setting. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform experience are expected to enable modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and web applications.
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Agile Scrum and REST, SOAP, JSON, XML web services.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub, and PR workflows.
• Experience leveraging AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
