Job summary

Cambium Assessment is seeking a Senior Item Development Coordinator to support item development managers and serve as the main project contact for clients and internal teams. The role emphasizes managing test development activities, ensuring scope and schedule, and coordinating with content teams.

Ideal candidates have a background in education, experience in education assessment, and strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; 5–8 years' experience or Master's degree with 1–4 years' experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with U.S. Education and Education Assessment
• 2–3 years of client management/interaction experience
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask
• Skilled at collaboration
• Travel 1–8 weeks per year; travel 2–5 days at a time

Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with the client about project schedules and deliverables
• Elevate project issues and propose solutions
• Collaborate with client and project management on annual development schedule and scope
• Understand and enforce agreed upon schedule and scope of work
• Support item development plan creation for all content areas
