Job summary

Atlas Technica is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our Project Engineering team in a remote role based in the United States.

This client‑facing position focuses on onboarding new clients and delivering infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology transformation projects. You will assess client environments, design technical solutions, develop transition plans, and drive projects to completion while communicating clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or project engineering.
Experience leading or contributing to technical implementations, infrastructure projects, client migrations, or new-client onboarding initiatives.
Strong end-user and desktop support experience with Windows, Office, devices, and home/remote networks.
Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Conditional Access, and Entra ID.
Experience implementing and supporting cloud platforms and collaboration technologies such as Azure, Box, Dropbox, or similar solutions.
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, identity management, and email-flow troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical onboarding and implementation of new client environments.
Architect, implement, and document secure technical solutions for new and existing client infrastructures.
Develop and execute detailed technical work plans, implementation plans, and client transition strategies.
Build and configure client environments that may include cloud-based SaaS, virtual servers, networking gear, desktops, and laptops.
Perform cloud, infrastructure, security, and technology assessments and provide recommendations to enhance Atlas Technica’s service offering.
Deliver infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and application-related projects per scope and timelines.
Identify project risks and communicate them to stakeholders.
Provide ongoing updates on technical strategy, progress, and next steps.
Attend client meetings and technical discovery sessions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during implementations and transitions.
Mentor Project Engineers and Systems Engineers as needed.
Follow Atlas Technica’s standards and change-control procedures.
