Job summary

Atlas Technica is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead onboarding and deliver infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology transformation projects for clients. This client-facing role partners with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and a seamless client experience.

The role blends hands-on technical work with leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration, while aligning with Eastern Time business hours in a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, or project engineering.
• Experience leading or contributing to technical implementations and client onboarding initiatives.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365/Azure experience.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and collaboration tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and email-flow troubleshooting.
• Ability to automate tasks with PowerShell or Graph API and document solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Remote-work capable with Eastern Time alignment; strong self-organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical onboarding and implementation of new client environments.
• Architect, implement, and document secure technical solutions for client infrastructures.
• Develop and execute detailed work plans and client transition strategies.
• Build and configure environments including cloud-based SaaS, virtual servers, networking, and endpoints.
• Provide proactive technical guidance and communicate progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and upskill project engineers and systems engineers on technical practices.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; communicate with project managers.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and procedures.
• Follow security requirements and change-control procedures; ensure scope and timelines are met.
